We are a serious, but fun group of women who enjoy cycling & exploring new places together. We try to encourage and motivate each other while supporting each of our athlete’s individual training goals. We will have a consistent Tuesday morning ride and will often have other rides scheduled throughout the week. Most of our rides begin at Serious Cycling in Agoura Hills & will cover 25+ miles, and we ride both in the hills & the flats. This is not a beginning riding group.
Our group is formed from passionate cyclists who want to improve each of their own personal fitness with a social aspect. Every time you throw your leg over a bike it is a race. The tour starts in San Francisco and follows Highway One over eight days, ending in LA. Riders train for the tour from March through September. Start in Sunset Beach at 8:30 AM under the "Water Tower" beach rental and ride to the HB Pier on the bike path. Round trip about 13 miles. Breakfast/Coffee at the HB Pier before returning to Sunset Beach if everyone is interested. The pace we keep is mid-range Hybrid bike / Cross training speed. Not as fast as a road bike pace and not as slow as a beach cruiser pace. Come out and get some exercise!
